The day that I gave my baby girl away… the same little girl who made me a mommy! <3
She chose the song, “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womak because it holds a special place in our hearts, as it was the song dedicated to me by my mother, shortly before she died.
This was the day that I saw my baby girl as an independent, brave, strong, absolutely breathtaking young woman! She was no longer the wee little girl, terrified of Sasquatch and the Map from Dora the Explorer.
My first born son… This young man has taught me so much about myself! He has always been such an inspiring young man, because he has never had time to sit and worry about what the world thinks of him. He has an outstanding drive and puts 100% of himself into everything he does.
This was his Freshman solo. I so badly wanted him to do it, and part of me knows that he did it for me, but I am so glad that he did it for himself!
I couldn’t have been more proud! He will always be my hero! <3
