Almost two decades have come to pass
Without seeing your face
Makes me wonder often
What’s the point of this place
What’s the point of love
When all it brings is pain
If every felt
Is felt in vain
So many memories have come to pass
I could only wish on a star
Cause you couldn’t be there
You’re stuck somewhere afar
I continue to try to make sense of it all
But haven’t come to a conclusion
The laughter of my babies; the smile from my man
Seems to be the solution
